It has been very quiet here on the CaliQuilter blog. For the last several months I have been concentrating on learning the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop in particular) to improve my pattern writing, layout and design skills. Meanwhile, I am very excited to be traveling to Incline Village at Lake Tahoe tomorrow to participate in Art Quilt Tahoe. I am going to be studying with Jane Sassaman about abstracting from nature, particularly flora. Can’t wait to get started! Stay tuned as I will be posting daily updates on this exciting workshop and how these amazing abstracts are done!
I have always wanted to take a class with Jane. Looking forward to your posts.
