EQ Block Base Sew-Along ~ Block 2

This is block 2741 from Electric Quilt’s Block Base software. It is the second block in the Block Base Sew-Along. (You can get more details by going to the EQ blog at www.doyoueq.com).

I am continuing to use a lavender/purple/lime green color scheme. I made some color changes to the original block by making all the star points a solid dark purple which makes them more prominent. The white area in the floral makes the points disappear at the center, so I should have been more careful with the fabric placement.

These are my first two blocks together:

The lower block looks more blue than it is in person. I am still experimenting with photos in Word Press, which behaves very differently than my prior blogger site, so bear with me!
